I made this track during a dark time a couple years ago. Back in Oregon after a rough trip I had to move my studio in Portland yet again, and the day I was set up enough to start making music there I started working on this track, looking out the window of my studio onto a peaceful rainy day in Southeast Portland, mild but overcast and drizzling rain all day long — a kind of day we often get in PDX.
